To the Editor.
—In my opinion it is a mistake to excise scar tissue in order to correct trachomatous entropion (ARCHIVES 96:874-877, 1978). The classical procedure for the repair of such a lesion is the "inversio tarsi." I learned this procedure in Hungary during 12 years of collaboration with Professor Blaskovics and later in Austria, Ceylon, and Vietnam. It always proved to be most successful and I wonder whether the authors have ever tried it.
