To the Editor.
—In the June issue of the ARCHIVES (91:519, 1974), the case report by Edward L. Seretan, MD, of an eye penetrated by a dental instrument is of importance and interest to all.
The author's attention is called to ten previously reported cases of ophthalmic injury in dental offices (Hales RH: Ocular injuries sustained in the dental office. Am J Ophthalmol 70:221-223, 1970).
