Footnotes

Dr. E. V. L. Brown states : "This paper was presented by Dr. Katz at the recent meeting of the American Ophthalmological Society at New London, Conn. (June 28, 1932), at the invitation of the Program Committee. Under the rules of the Society, one who is not a member cannot present a paper unless a member's name appears as co-author, and I therefore gladly lent my name. On the other hand, Dr. Delaney did an essential part of the work and now properly appears as co-author with Dr. Katz."
