The International Eye Foundation Announces the Society of Eye Surgeons.

—The international organization of qualified eye surgeons is being established for the main purpose of sponsoring surgical fellowships, surgical congresses, and visiting professors to up-grade surgical eye care world-wide. Consultants and advisory board members include ophthalmic surgeons of international reputation. A World Congress on Eye Surgery will be held in Washington, DC on May 27 and 28, 1971. Membership requirements and application forms may be obtained from the Society of Eye Surgeons, International Eye Foundation, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC 20016, attention J. H. King, Jr., MD, FACS, Medical Director.

—Fight for Sight, Inc., has awarded $294,593 for the current year for 75 basic and clinical research projects in ophthalmology and its related sciences, it was announced by Charles A.
