To the Editor:

I was terribly disappointed in the August 1965 issue of the Archives.

What began as a wonderfully promising verbal broo ha ha between Fox vs. Kwitko ended ignominiously. Why? Because Kwitko quit and threw the fight. That's why. Fox appeared to be in superb condition. His years of training for this were obvious. First he feinted with the von Graefe, crossed with a 1910 Beard and immediately followed through with a Casey Wood and a Butler. And this was only shadow boxing in his corner. Seeing this, Kwitko panicked. He called Laval, the referee, and counted himself out; thus forfeiting the whole fight. And they ridiculed Liston!
