This color atlas of 600 Kodachrome reproductions of anterior segment diseases was produced in response to requests to the author which followed his exhibit "Know Your Eyes," prepared for the Ohio State Medical Association meeting in 1961. For such a purpose, this book with its 29 page text and brief legends for each photograph is adequate. For the practicing ophthalmologist, however, this atlas may be of only occasional value to identify certain ocular conditions for non-ophthalmological colleagues, medical students, and patients. Many of the Kodachromes are of insufficient detail, are poorly exposed, and fail to adequately reveal the pathology desired.
