International Ophthalmology Clinics is a hard-covered periodical, issued quarterly, to provide data on selected clinical topics, omitting research areas except those that have direct bearing on specific clinical problems. Each volume is edited by an authority on the subject of discussion, and selected authors write the 10 to 20 articles contained in each issue. This format appears to be patterned after the widely read Medical and Surgical Clinics of North America. As might be expected in a journal written by multiple editors and authors, the quality of the articles ranges from mediocre to excellent. One entire issue, devoted to Contact Lens Management, edited by Morgan B. Raiford, M.D., has been reprinted as a textbook.
The current issue, Tumors of the Eye and Adnexa, is capably edited by Lorenz E. Zimmerman, M.D., of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and brings the full weight of the Registry of Ophthalmic Pathology, with
