This book written by two optometrists from Indiana University presents a general procedure for fitting corneal contact lenses. The authors present the principles of fitting which they have found to be most satisfactory. They do not consider all the anatomical and physiological factors which influence the acceptance of the lenses, but they do present a workable plan for the determination of basic specifications of the lenses and methods of modification. The book is well written and adequately illustrated, but it does not offer any great advantage over the fitting manuals issued by several of the contact lens manufacturers. . . .
