The main portion of this book, dealing with functional testing of the labyrinth, will interest chiefly otolaryngologists, but every ophthalmologist should have a reasonable understanding of the physiology of the labyrinth and its derangements. The author's approach to his subject has been largely physiological, and the first 26 pages deal entirely with physiology. There are other sections of the book which relate directly to ophthalmological problems, such as end-position nystagmus, conjugate paresis, and conjugate deviations, convergence spasm, labyrinthine strabismus, and optokinetic nystagmus. . . .
