This is a comprehensive atlas and text on one of the mycoses. With the ever-increasing importance of fungus disease, the authors have set themselves the task of publishing a series of monographs on the individual systemic mycoses. This is the first of the series. It covers cryptococcosis in all its aspects, both in man and in animals. The book will obviously be of chief use to laboratory workers in this field. The human form of the disease will be of interest to ophthalmologists in that papilledema and retinal exudates are commonly seen in cryptococcal infection of the central nervous system. The illustrations are excellent, and the book will undoubtedly be the authoritative reference for this field.
