National Society for the Prevention of Blindness: Sight-Saving Conference.
—The 1956 Sight-Saving Conference of the National Society for the Prevention of Blindness will be held March 26, 27, and 28 at the Palmer House in Chicago, it has been announced by the National Society for the Prevention of Blindness, conference sponsor.
Reports of new research into the causes of the blinding eye diseases will be made by outstanding ophthalmological investigators during the three-day sessions. Other highlights include the presentation of new techniques and procedures in various phases of sight conservation work in the fields of medicine, education, nursing, social work, and safety. Many interesting related exhibits will be on display.
Several hundred delegates from all parts of the United States are expected at the three-day conference.
