ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mark J. Schoenberg Memorial Lecture.

—The Mark J. Schoenberg Memorial Lecture, sponsored jointly by the National Society for the Prevention of Blindness and the New York Society for Clinical Ophthalmology, will be given on Monday, Dec. 5, at 8: 15 p. m., at the New York Academy of Medicine. Irving H. Leopold, M.D., chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania, will speak on "Recent Advances in the Medical Treatment of Glaucoma."

This annual lecture is a memorial to the late Mark J. Schoenberg, M.D., who founded the New York Society for Clinical Ophthalmology and who also was the first chairman of the National Society's Committee on Glaucoma.
