This short text of human physiology cannot be recommended as an introduction for students to the physiology of the eye. The materials, in particular, the formation of aqueous humor and the maintenance of intraocular pressure, has not been brought up to date. The section on the pupil and the neuropathways for vision are adequate, but in future editions this whole chapter should be revised. The rest of the book is beyond the interest of this review. . . .
