This small monograph considers the general significance of optokinetic nystagmus in all its phases. The author is well known for his writings on nystagmus during the past twenty-five years. This study deals with the estimation of visual acuity by means of optokinetic nystagmus, and in particular the effect of various disease processes on the optokinetic pendulum type of nystagmus.
