Central Illinois Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.

—The next meeting of the Central Illinois Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology will be held at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Springfield, Ill., on Sept. 12, 13, and 14. The guest speakers will be Dr. Paul A. Chandler, of Boston, and Dr. Thomas C. Galloway, of Evanston, Ill.

American Ophthalmological Society.

—At the 88th Annual Meeting of the American Ophthalmological Society, the following officers were elected: president, Dr. Conrad Berens; vice-president, Dr. William L. Benedict; secretarytreasurer, Dr. Maynard C. Wheeler, and editor, Dr. Gordon M. Bruce.
