The report for this year, entitled "Les aspects pathologiques du fond de l'oeil dans las affections de la rétina (Atlas ophthalmoscopique), was presented before the Société française d'ophtalmologie by Gabriel Renard on May 8, 1939, and, as is customary, was published as a separate volume (reviewed in the ARCHIVES38: 129 [July] 1947). This report is the thirteenth in this remarkable series of monographs on the ophthalmoscopic examination of the fundus oculi, which has added so much to the renown of the French Ophthalmological Society. This volume of the transactions of the society brings the discussion on this report, which took place on May 21, 1946, at the postponed meeting of the society. The remainder of the meeting was occupied with the presentation of about sixty papers concerned with clinical observations on many subjects and their discussion.
