This sumptuous brochure is not only a commemorative biography of the Sarmatic astronomer who was greeted by Melanchthon as the man who made the world move and bade the sun stand still and thus revolutionized the concept of the solar system. Nor is it just the life story of one who was distinguished as a statesman, soldier and physician.
