American Board of Ophthalmology.

—The American Board of Ophthalmology will hold examinations in New York city on June 4 and 5 and in Chicago October 8 and 9. Candidates will be required to appear for examination on two successive days. Formal application blanks may be procured from the secretary, Dr. John Green, 6830 Waterman Avenue, St. Louis.

Knapp Foundation Laboratories.

—A new set of laboratories designed for the study of ocular functions, including physiologic optics, has been constructed and is now in operation at the Institute of Ophthalmology of the Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, New York. These laboratories are being equipped and maintained by the Knapp Memorial Foundation, governed by Dr. Arnold Knapp, Dean Willard C. Rappleye and Dr. Phillips Thygeson.
