
Error in Special Symbols That Appear Throughout the Article

Because of a printer output problem, an error occurred in the setting of several special symbols in the Laboratory Sciences article titled "Isolation and Culture of Iris Pigment Epithelium From Iridectomy Specimens of Eyes With and Without Exfoliation Syndrome," published in the January ARCHIVES (1997;115: 89-94). The errors were as follows: (1) The symbol for "µg" was published as "mg" in the "Methods" subsection of the "Abstract" and in the "Materials and Methods" section. (2) The symbol for "°" (degrees) was published as an "8" in 3 places in the "Materials and Methods" section. (3) The symbol for "–" was published as a "2" in 2 places in the "Evaluation of Cultures" subsection of the "Materials and Methods" section. (4) The symbol for "±" was published as a "6" in several places in the "Results" section (page 90). (5) The symbol for "x" was published as a "3" in 2
