Richard A. Saunders, MD, Has Been Named the N. Edgar Miles Professor of Ophthalmology

at the Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Dr Saunders is professor and vice-chair of the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr Saunders is a recent recipient of honor awards from the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the

American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is serving his 19th year on the university's faculty.

J. William Harbour Has Been Appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences

at the Washington University School of Medicine and has joined the Barnes Retina Institute in St Louis, Mo. Dr Harbour completed his residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa, a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Fla, and an oncology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
