Daniel M. Albert, MD, Appointed Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

—On July 1, 1992, Daniel M. Albert, MD, joined the faculty of the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He will assume the role of Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology starting September 1, 1992. Dr Albert received his medical degree, as well as his training in ophthalmology, from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed fellowships at the National Institute of Health and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, DC. From 1969 through 1976, Dr Albert was on the faculty of Yale University. In 1976, he was appointed Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and Surgeon of Ophthalmology at The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he has served as Director of the David G.
