These books are multiauthored compilations of the presentations from meetings of international experts. They do not attempt to provide the comprehensive and even coverage that would be found in a textbook; instead, both books review some topics of current interest in basic and clinical glaucoma research. Although these texts provide fascinating surveys of certain topics in glaucoma research, as with any book of this type, the information they contain could become rapidly outdated with continued progress in the field.
