Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology Announces New Officers.
—The Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology has announced its officers for the 1991-1992 academic year. Elected president was Richard P. Carroll, MD, FACS. Other elected officers are: Martin B. Kaplan, MD, president-elect; Rene W. Pelletier, MD, treasurer; and Jerry L. Kobrin, MD, secretary. Raymond C. Croissant, MD, is continuing as chairman of the External Affairs Committee, and Paul T. Wicklund, MD, has been appointed chairman of the Internal Affairs Committee.
Steven M. Podos, MD, Gives Harvard Lecture.
—Steven M. Podos, MD, professor and chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY, gave the Harvard Lecture on October 4, 1991, as part of the 1991 Harvard Visiting Professorship in Ophthalmology. Dr Podos, the first Harvard Visiting Professor in Ophthalmology who graduated from Harvard Medical School, is a member of the editorial board of the ARCHIVES.
