Free-floating cysts of the ocular media have been well documented in both the anterior chamber and the vitreous. Free-floating cysts within the retrolental space are extremely rare and, to our knowledge, only three such cysts have been previously reported. We report one further case of a free-floating cyst within the retrolental space.
