Department Chairman Announced.

—David J. Schanzlin, MD, has been named professor and chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at St Louis University School of Medicine and medical director of Bethesda Eye Institute, St Louis, effective May 1, 1987.

Dr Schanzlin came to St Louis University Medical Center and the Bethesda Eye Institute from the Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where he was professor and director of the Anderson Corneal Research Laboratory.

Society Officers Announced.
