Three Members of Archives Editorial Board Assume Positions With ARVO.

—At the May 1987 Annual Meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), J. Terry Ernest, PhD, MD, was elected editorin-chief of Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science. W. Richard Green, MD, was elected trustee of the Pathology Section, and David Epstein, MD, was elected trustee of the Glaucoma Section.

The Mildred Weisenfeld Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology was awarded to Carl Kupfer, MD, director of the National Eye Institute. The Proctor Medal was awarded to David A. Robinson, PhD, of The Wilmer Institute, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore; and the Friedenwald Award was given to Roy H. Steinberg, MD, PhD, of the Departments of Physiology and Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco.
