Announcement of Loan and Grant Support in Pediatric Ophthalmology.

—Annual interest-free loans of up to $10 000 are available for training conducted in North America. Priority consideration is given to fellows who seek support for additional training after completion of a one-year fellowship program in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and to fellows who plan to pursue academic or teaching careers after completion of fellowship training. Consideration will also be given to the relative needs of the population to be served by the fellow on completion of training. Requests for fellowship loans will be considered after notification of acceptance to a North American training program has been received by the applicant.

Grants for investigations to be undertaken in North America in pediatric ophthalmology are also available. Loan and grant applications must be submitted by April 30, 1987, to be considered for these annual awards. For applications and further information . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
