Ophthalmologists with a special interest in retinoblastoma will find this volume useful and interesting. It will be most useful to pediatric ophthalmologists and retinal surgeons. Most of the material has been published elsewhere, and some of the chapters are essentially reprints of previous publications, but it is convenient to have all of this material collected in one volume. Diagnostic and therapeutic techniques are well covered in several chapters, and the differential diagnosis is well covered in chapter 2. As is inevitable in a book in which each chapter is written by a different author, there is considerable overlap and redundancy of material. There is remarkable consensus among the authors of chapters dealing with modes of treatment and the appropriate management of retinoblastoma, and readers will find these chapters helpful.
