—I read with great interest the letter written by Thall et al¹ on band keratopathy after orbicularis extirpation for essential blepharospasm. However, the patient they described had dry eyes (Schirmer's test, 1 mm at five minutes), so I disagree with the authors that this patient suffered from essential blepharospasm. It seems to me that the description blepharospasm caused by dry eyes would be better in this case. . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
