To practice glaucoma care by modern standards, an ophthalmologist needs to understand a variety of laser techniques. This book, based on a 1982 symposium on laser therapy of glaucoma, provides an up-to-date and comprehensive review of the subject. The test and diagrams are presented with clarity, and all sections include ample "how-to" descriptions. Many clinical pearls and individual variations of the authors are described in detail. There are frequent editor's notes, and it is appropriately noted that the exact laser settings and methods are not presented as gospel.
