—Urtti and Salminen are correct. Table III of the article by Chrai and Robinson gives a peak mean concentration in rabbit aqueous humor of pilocarpine nitrate, 7.37 (10^-3) mg/mL. This converts to 27µm, not 27mM.

I wish to thank Urtti and Salminen for pointing out this error in our comments. As they concluded, this concentration is far too low to cause an activation of intraocular choline acetyltransferase.
