Retinal Service Director Announced.
— The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, Department of Ophthalmology, Boston, announced that Evangelos Gradoudas, MD, an associate professor at the Harvard Medical School, has been selected as the new director of the retina service. He follows Charles Regan, MD, as director.
Von Sallmann Prize Nominations Solicited.
—The third Ludwig von Sallmann Prize will be awarded at the Seventh International Congress of Eye Research to be held Sept 25-Oct 1, 1986, at the Nagoya (Japan) Kanko Hotel. This award is for an outstanding achievement in ophthalmology and vision. The awardee will be determined by a committee comprised of Christina Enroth-Cugell, MD, Edward Norton, MD, Peter Gouras, MD, and Henry Wagner, MD.
