To the Editor.
—The article by Hoover et al,1 "Descemet's Membrane Detachment by Sodium Hyaluronate," in the June 1985 issue of the ARCHIVES interested me, especially because they also discussed treatment of Descemet's membrane detachment.
I described a successful method for repositioning and repair of Descemet's membrane detachment in the January-February 1982 issue of the Journal of Ocular Therapy and Surgery.2 Since that report, I have had two other instances in which Descemet's membrane detachment was identified intraoperatively and treated in a similar fashion with excellent results. The described technique avoids the difficulties encountered in alternative modes of therapy outlined in the article by Hoover et al.
