—The article by Hoover et al,¹ "Descemet's Membrane Detachment by Sodium Hyaluronate," in the June 1985 issue of the ARCHIVES interested me, especially because they also discussed treatment of Descemet's membrane detachment.

I described a successful method for repositioning and repair of Descemet's membrane detachment in the January-February 1982 issue of the Journal of Ocular Therapy and Surgery.² Since that report, I have had two other instances in which Descemet's membrane detachment was identified intraoperatively and treated in a similar fashion with excellent results.
