Conference.

—An intraocular lens and refractive surgery course is being held at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, Chicago, Sept 6-8, 1984. Guest faculty include Michael R. Dietz, Steven P. Shearing, George O. Waring, and Herbert E. Kaufman, who is presenting the third annual Kronfeld Memorial Lecture.

Vitreoretinal Surgery.

—An international symposium on vitreoretinal surgery will be held in Vienna, May 13-15, 1985. The scientific program is under the chairmanship of Dr R. Machemer, Durham, NC. For further information, contact S. Binder, MD, 1. Universitäts-Augenklinik, Spitalgasse 2, A-1090 Wien, Austria.

Glaucoma Management.

—A symposium entitled "Glaucoma Management—The State of the Art" will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Francisco, Dec 7-8,1984.
