A 23-year-old woman with a history of systemic lupus erythematosus had blurry vision in her right eye. There is a flame hemorrhage around the optic nerve, a macular edema, subhyaloid hemorrhages, and marked inflammatory sheathing of the retinal vessels. Diagnosis of retinal vasculitis secondary to systemic lupus erythematosus was made.
