Dr Brusini notes that he has trademarked the term Glaucoma Staging System and has also raised this issue in a letter to the American Journal of Ophthalmology,1 where the categorization system used in this article is published. We would like to refer readers to the correspondence1-2 in the American Journal of Ophthalmology for additional information in this regard and again apologize to Dr Brusini for not including the reference to his 1996 article3 in European Journal of Ophthalmology.
