Dr Brusini notes that he has trademarked the term Glaucoma Staging System and has also raised this issue in a letter to the American Journal of Ophthalmology,¹ where the categorization system used in this article is published. We would like to refer readers to the correspondence^1-2 in the American Journal of Ophthalmology for additional information in this regard and again apologize to Dr Brusini for not including the reference to his 1996 article³ in European Journal of Ophthalmology.
