Kopff (Paris): A Case of Bilateral Optic Neuritis Caused by Influenza Ending in Recovery

The optic neuritis appeared on the sixth day of the disease with reduction of vision to the ability to count fingers, mydriasis, and papillo-retinitis. The treatment consisted in the use of leeches, quinine, calomel, and milk diet. Four months later the vision of the right eye rose to 8/10, and that of the left to 7/10.
