Analyzing the causes of the generally known unsuccessfulness of operations
against wrong-standing eyelashes, two main points may be emphasized in this
regard. Firstly, the operations are done without caring enough for the anatomical
conditions. On the other hand the cicatricial shrinking does not stop even
after operation, thus leading to recurrences.
