Lubbers reports on eleven cases of multiple sclerosis. In ninethere were ophthalmoscopic changes in the disc (atrophy andneuritis). In seven there was a central scotoma and normal periphericfield; in one a scotoma with contraction of the field; in twoirregular peripheric contraction; and in one case the fieldwas normal. In seven cases ocular muscles were affected. Allthe patients had nystagmus.
