Atlas of Eyelid and Conjunctival Tumors is the first in a 3-volume series covering the topic of ophthalmic oncology. The text contains 25 chapters broken into 2 separate sections. Part 1 describes tumors and pseudotumors of the eyelids and part 2 covers tumors and pseudotumors of the conjuctiva. Lacrimal drainage system tumors are included in the eyelid segment. Each section concludes with a short description of surgical management. In total, the authors describe 95 different tumors and pseudotumors encompassing nearly all neoplastic conditions that occur in the eyelid, conjunctiva, and lacrimal drainage system.
The atlas is designed for easy study with text on the left-hand page and clinical photographs and histopathologic characteristics on the right. The written portion covers incidence, clinical presentation, diagnosis, histopathlogic characteristics, and management of each condition. Disease descriptions are clear, concise, and complete, with many clinical pearls from 2 of the foremost physicians in the field. . . . [Full Text of this Article]
