A Linear Suction Control for the Vitreous Cutter (Ocutome)

Steve Charles, MD; Carl Wang, PhD

Arch Ophthalmol. 1981;99(9):1613.

Abstract

• A linear suction control pedal was developed as an integral part of the vitreous cutter (Ocutome 8000). This pedal eliminates abrupt onset of suction, uses minimal necessary suction force on a continuous basis, and eliminates control by the technician.
