Ocular hypotony associated with detachment of the ciliary body without
evident cyclodialysis has been corrected by reattachment of the ciliary
body to the sclera. This was achieved by suturing the ciliary body to
sclera under microscopic control. It would seem that prolonged hypotony of
this type can be cured by this method.
