Urokinase in concentrations ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 units/mL was used
to perfuse the corneal endothelium of rabbits for three hours in the
specular microscope. No notable corneal swelling was noted, and the corneal
endothelium appeared normal when observed with scanning electron
microscopy.
