Abstract
In five patients, specimens of discrete, subepidermal lid tumors were successfully aspirated with 22- to 24-gauge spinal needles and diagnosed cytologically. The simplicity, rapidity of diagnosis, and high accuracy of cytodiagnosis should make it a popular method for the evaluation of clinically puzzling subepidermal lid tumors.
