Senile entropion. Pathogenesis and treatment

Lower lid entropion is owing to a defect of the lower eyelid retractors
that causes attenuation of the aponeurosis. Twelve patients with lower lid
entropion underwent surgery in which a procedure that reapproximates normal
lower lid anatomy was used. There were two recurrences of the entropion
condition in the twelve patients.
