Three cases of graft rejection or primary donor failure after penetrating
keratoplasty failed to respond to treatment. After cessation of therapy,
these edematous corneas all cleared spontaneously in six to 17 months with
the return of excellent vision. It is suggested that repeated keratoplasty
be delayed up to 18 months in certain instances.
