Histopathologic examination of an eye with severe anterior uveitis and a
whitish retrolental tumor in a 43-year-old woman, and of an orbital cystic
tumor in a 2-year-old girl, showed the presence of Coenurus, the
bladderworm of Multiceps multiceps. The single bladder of Coenurus may
contain hundreds of scoleces. intraocular Coenurus is most often located in
the subretinal space.
