Abstract
Removal of membranes from the retinal surface is an integralpart of many vitreoretinal surgical procedures. Two-handed tissuedelamination with a knife allows precise and accurate controlof dissection planes. A newly designed diamond knife providesthe consistently sharp cutting edge required for this technique.
