Basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) of the caruncle are rare. We report a case of
a primary BCC of the caruncle in a 74-year-old man who was seen with a
medial interpalpebral lesion. He had a history of sun exposure and multiple
malignant neoplasms of the skin. The lesion was excised and histological
examination showed a BCC of the caruncle. The clinical history, examination
findings, and histological features are given.
